Acupressure

What is acupressure?

Acupressure means putting pressure on the surface of your skin with your fingers.  The pressure helps to relieve tension in the muscles and improve circulation.

Acupressure helps to relieve headaches, neck pain, muscle aches and tension due to stress.

Acupressure also helps treat constipation, diarrhea, and insomnia.

How does acupressure work?

Putting pressure on certain points of the body releases endorphins, which are chemicals in the brain that relieve pain.

How is acupressure used?

Acupressure can help to manage stress.  It is used along with other medical treatments.
